Takes quite a lot of paint to get the color as opaque as shown. It also does not like my water brushes. I got this to show iridescence in bug shells, fish/reptile scales, and thin film interference (gas rainbows in pudles). I don't know how well it will work for all that, but i chalk that up to me not knowing the kind of paint i was buying as it's clear that the paint itself is well crafted.

Absolutely love this color, it is a nice purple base to start with and it shifts wonderfully into a metallic array! Definitely would recommend.
